Yesterday

Long week but yesterday word came in that the divorce was granted. Legally single, took a couple hard choices but the end does sometimes justify the means. also started clearing my fathers apt(long over due) I was really tired but the aire of accomplishment kept me going and up for about 30 hours. Took the time to call my ex-wife to wish her well in any/all endevours hope it all isn't a wash. Turning page from sad Counting Crows to happy sinatra and darin. Time to go out with the boys sans Jonathan for booze and strippers. more thought later....

legally single...

I've been thinking now that the paperwork is in two words keep crossing my mind... legally single.. seems stupid since its been almost a year since I've seen the wife. a year of phone tag. I never disliked being single, but if the old papers hold.
Truth is; people do change every seven or so years, people who may have been perfect when you are young have faults when you look back on the things past. nope nobodys perfect. eyes wide shut. thats love-but not committment love feeds itself but committment takes committment duh and time, loyalty, respect and fairness which people may not understand, I didn't, it was a lesson I learned late, too late for sum. All's well that ends.

Vacation Work

And no time too soon... work is crap and I need time off but. Time to do other work personal; the baby is coming this week , gotta get new glasses goto the dentist, hopefully back to court,find my brother then by the end of the week see X-men 3 with the guys. I'm going to need a vacation from my vacation. or maybe a visit to hooters or hustler ny.

Thinking about Work

It's 'bout 3am and I'm going over the events of the past week. First off, when the union made me the Health and Saftey Co-chairman for the 200 workers' during my shift, I never thought that I'd be sitting in a room pretending to sleep to hear my former friends/committee workers bad mouth me undermine the unions authority and try to create a shadow committee. (good luck trying to get paid for that hour cause I ain't helping ...)Suckers
Friday, My monthly meeting. These two dumb asses sit in like its a prayer vigil (Felix & Mark) My boss Bob didn't want them to disrupt the meeting so 15 union members waited 1 hour for local management and district management to get involved. After a closed door conversation its decided they CAN sit in but.. must be civil....To my amazement they were, when my meeting was finally over these two buffoons went looking for a shill to scream at they picked Victor.
Dumb choice, Vic's been at UPS for the better part of 33 years Knows every body and is a union rep, they threatened him. Tomorrow I gonna see someone lose a job or even better lose a position or best (Mark this ones for you) get someone arrested.
